“Very nice beachfront hotel in a less crowded region of Almunecar”
We often visit the small, but pleasant beachfront of Cotobro. The seafront paseo connects the approximately 15 km which spreads out east and west from downtown Almunecar. Here you may enjoy a quiet day reading or just 'chilling out' in the soul warming sunlight of Andalicia.

“Playa Cotobro hotel”
Found this hotel very clean and the staff we are all pleasant , The waitress behind the bar was always smiling and willing to help . The bar area and outside terrace were a great place to sit and relax . We chose a room with a sea view which was fantastic , although big enough for 2 with an extra b… Mehr
Found this hotel very clean and the staff we are all pleasant , The waitress behind the bar was always smiling and willing to help . The bar area and outside terrace were a great place to sit and relax . We chose a room with a sea view which was fantastic , although big enough for 2 with an extra bed for our son it made it a little tight . The dining room was quite crowded at breakfast time but there was ample food and it was good quality continental and fried . Ideally situated to the beach the hotel also has a nice pool if not a littke small . Bars and restaurants are about 10/15 minutes walk, couldn’t stay in Almuñécar for a week as I found apart from swimming there is very little to do .I would definitely stay in this hotel again and if you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is the place .There is a lack of cashpoints in the town and the one I did find charged us over €4 to withdraw cash

“Great Location”
A great position, right on the beach. Choice of beaches to visit, not much else to do in the vicinity. Good for a few days, my 4 days was enough. Wifi is only available in the public areas & they are very spartan. No comfortable chairs to sit in, no cosy bar. The dining room did not have much char… Mehr
A great position, right on the beach. Choice of beaches to visit, not much else to do in the vicinity. Good for a few days, my 4 days was enough. Wifi is only available in the public areas & they are very spartan. No comfortable chairs to sit in, no cosy bar. The dining room did not have much character, more like a café. The food was not great, either breakfast or dinner, no healthy options available. Staff were really friendly & helpful.
