The Starlight Suiten exceeded expectations in every way. Located just behind the Four Seasons, we had a large balcony with a view of the Danube, the castle, and the famous Chain Bridge. The basilica was a short walk, as were many restaurants and shops with many options of cuisine and quality. Our suite featured a large, modern bath, a comfortable bed in a generous sized bedroom, and a living room with mini-bar, wet bar, TV, desk, and comfortable seating. The staff was helpful, informative, and all spoke English fluently. At 7 euros a person, breakfast was generous in options and tasty. It set up us for active days of sightseeing. The location was convenient to all public transportation, dining, shopping, and sightseeing. We will go back, if we visit Budapest again.

The hotel is a block back from the Danube and a 5-min walk to St Stephen’s Basicila and easy walk to other tourist sites. It is a suite hotel with separate bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. The hotel is a block back from the Danube and a 5-min walk to St Stephen’s Basicila and easy walk to other tourist sites. It is a suite hotel with separate bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. Rooms are very big, high ceilings and very quiet - but furnishings need updating and the bed is very low. Breakfast area is small but food selection very good and plentiful and tea/espresso coffee available all day for free. Rooms have a microwave, fridge, tea/coffee, and a sink. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the next street. Staff very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Easy walking distance of the Chain Bridge, next door to 4 Seasons Hotel, and easy walking distance to Elizabeth Square, St Stephens Basilica (tip - much nicer souvenir shops on the side streets than the souvenir shops on Vaci Utca), Vaci Utca, Parliament, and all main sites. Easy walking distance of the Chain Bridge, next door to 4 Seasons Hotel, and easy walking distance to Elizabeth Square, St Stephens Basilica (tip - much nicer souvenir shops on the side streets than the souvenir shops on Vaci Utca), Vaci Utca, Parliament, and all main sites. Women travelling alone can feel secure in this hotel and its location. The breakfast was more than adequate, a very nice surprise. All rooms are large spacious suites with kettles and free coffee. Clearly the hotel needs updating, renovation, especially the lobby which would make a much better impression once updated. But as it is right now, it's a friendly hotel, clean, very good breakfast, excellent location, and very good value. We would recommend and will return.
